Overview

Odíhg Spùvājec was founded durring the late 14th century in fall of the year 1279, by Êpîpí Beddoe. The establishment of Odíhg Spùvājec was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Êpîpí Beddoe struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Odíhg Spùvājec as a prison colony.

Odíhg Spùvājec was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Spùvājec is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Odíhg Spùvājec is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad paverstone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Odíhg Spùvājec's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Unfortuantly, these political statment focused walls are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Odíhg Spùvājec seems to be home to a quite vibrant and boisterous community. Everywhere one looks they can see people going out their daily business with a smile and a spring in their step. Children play loudly in the streets, causing untold havoc as youth are want and allowed to do. On second glance, that chaos continues into adulthood. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.

Cultural Notes

Odíhg Spùvājec has a long tradition of martial expertise. This may be a crisply-organized history of skilled native levies, or it may be a natural belligerence in the people that leaves them familiar with bloodshed. While their neighbors and liege doubtless respect their talents, this very aptitude might make them more willing to turn to steel than prudence would advise.

Odíhg Spùvājec's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is based upon new and innovative technologies of construction and the idea that form should follow function. It was an embrace of minimalism and a rejection of ornament. The style became characterized by an emphasis on volume, asymmetrical compositions, and minimal ornamentation..

In Odíhg Spùvājec during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.

The Churr near Odíhg Spùvājec are known to be quite timid.

Odíhg Spùvājec's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves creating small tokens to channel Charm energies of tier 3 via recitation of scripture.
